There are some important terms used on the mobile web and it is important to a business owner to understand them, if you want to get a mobile website. Unless you can already define a mobile website, please read the following terms and their explanations.

pages on the regular web, that are not mobile friendly. We warn users if our links go to pages that are not valid mobileOK. Please note that our links change from blue to black, or the underline disappears, after you visit that resource.
A stylesheet or CSS is a separate file that tells the browser what the web page should look like when displayed. The only valid stylesheet for the mobile web is CSS 1.
Graphics include all the pictures and design elements that are not simple text information. On a mobile web page, the total graphics files cannot exceed 10KB or the page could load so slowly that the visitor will simply give up. That's not being very mobile friendly.
Search engines are simply computer programs that search the World Wide Web looking for websites. Each of the major search organizations has a mobile version that attempts to find mobile friendly sites. Giving users mobile search results in a mobile friendly format. It still needs work!
